The last time I shot photos for Steve and Holly, it was just the two of them. Now, they’ve become a “family” adding little man, Braxton, to the mix. I knew the session would be a success the second I met the little guy. I peeked into his infant carrier and barely said two words when he gave me the biggest grin ever! It was awesome!
I was super excited when Holly told me they’d be in town visiting family and wanted to meet up with me. They live in Dallas and don’t get to visit a ton. BUT, after seeing Grandma and Grandpa with this cute little bundle, I knew there was no way they could stay away for long. Hopefully, they’ll call when they’re in town every few months so I can see how much this cutie pie grows throughout the year. He’s irresistable!!!

At first, he wasn’t really sure about the big camera in front of his face. BUT, he couldn’t keep the grins from us for long…

and those eyes…oh, those eyes…
It got hot quickly during our session. Luckily, Braxton’s momma and daddy were able to keep him happy and cool. I think his neat, orange hat may have helped a bit, too!

Braxton did get a tad hungry towards the middle of our session. So, Grandma took over with the bottle while I snapped a couple of the two love birds…
I think this last shot is my favorite from the whole day. I stole it in one of those “in-between” moments. You may not agree with me, but there’s something sexy about it… Don’t you see it? I think it’s the moodiness of it and the tiny sliver of bra peaking through…
just a momma comforting her child.
THAT, in and of itself, is sexy. Then you make the momma Holly. At first, I started to “make-over” the shot and try to hide the sliver of black peaking out. I changed my mind and I’m so glad I stuck with the original. I can’t decide if it’s more smoldering in b/w or color, though. What are your thoughts?
