Lilly and her family drove all the way from Yukon to meet up with me at the Santa Fe Train Depot in Shawnee. We all knew she’d get a kick out of seeing the train cars and the backgrounds are perfect for a few family photos, too. It wasn’t exactly a “perfect” day. It was windy and super chilly, but we made it work for us by bundling Lilly up every chance we could. Our biggest problem was watery eyes from that cold wind! BURR!
Still, look how great the photos turned out! Lilly is gorgeous!

Her mom and dad were pretty cute, too. ![]()

Lilly was such a trooper. After nearly every photo, she’d say “all done” and was ready to head to the truck. I’m tellin’ ya, it was cold outside and she knew better than to be out there too long. After a while, we were agreeing with her!

At the very end, she changed into her Christmas dress. By then, she really was DONE. But, we bribed her with a Christmas tree lollipop and I was able to snap a few more shots because of it.
All in all, I’d say things went pretty well. The photos are proof!

Lindsey - Thanks for posting Shannon. That dang wind sure is bad on the hair. I guess I should have sprayed Lillys hair down with a lot of hair spray!!
Lora Samarripas - Those are SOOOO cute! I love the backgrounds with the stone and doors!
Amy Precure - Lilly is adorable and she did good given the weather and the wind!!! I love the doorway pic and the first one, looks like a mini me Lindsey!
