As I sit here this afternoon munching on an Archer Farms brand frozen pizza from Target (which are amazingly delicious if you haven’t tried them), I realize I should probably go ahead and post my sneak peek of the awesome Hale family.

I realize this because my wonderful husband has taken our wild and woolly boys on an errand mission to find something suitable for catching the increasing amounts of puppy poo in our whelping pen. My session for today is officially called off due to weather – It’s surprisingly chilly outside, and the rain keeps subtly poking it’s head out to drizzle on my day. BUT, the real reason for pre-posting my Monday sneak peek of the Hale family is that I have a FEW minutes of magical peace at home by myself. Peace, you say?

True, it won’t happen again for, at the very least, a solid week. Josh has a business trip and I’ll be wrangling the savages all alone until Thursday night.
Then, I remembered the dynamics of the Hale family.

Four boys. Five, if you include Dad…which you should, because he was as much (if not more) of a kid as the rest of them. I thought about them at home on a Sunday afternoon experiencing the same rainy, chilly, STAY-INSIDE weather I’m experiencing and a thought came to my mind…
Poor, poor Mom.
FOUR BOYS at home INSIDE on a SUNDAY with nothing to do, but cause trouble and argue with each other. I’d better give them something to do OR to look at, right? Thought so.
Sara, this is for you. Hope it moves your day along a bit and encourages some brotherly love among your crew.
Happy EARLY Monday.
The twins…

the middle child…
The oldest…
Mom and Dad…
and a few more because they were too cute not to share…

A lot of my larger families are loving the train depot in Shawnee. It especially works great if you have a crew full of kiddos. AND, during the winter, it’s perfect because you don’t need green grass and flowers to pull off a great shoot. ![]()
