Be Still My Heart…

The kid has it all.
He’s serious.  I call him a “deep thinker”.
He’s quirky.  I call him charismatic and captivating.
He’s bull-headed.  I call him determined.
He’s funny.  I call him witty.
He’s so DRAMATIC.  I call him riveting.
This is a prime example….
It all started while showing a little love toward our pup.  Innocent enough, right?
Awww, you...

Living Amongst the “Crazies”!

All this time off has really opened my eyes to the CRAZY world I live in.  Everywhere I turn, there are strange little people (and big) looking at me with big eyes and big grins with some very high expectations.  They might be just a little on the nutty side.  After a while, I start...

Cowboy and Indians & a few Army guys thrown in for good measure…

We’ve finally made it to PRETEND play at the Gurney household.  I’m sure for most of you this would be great because it would be calm, quiet play.  Right?
Not so at the Gurney’s…

Here it’s caused quite a ruckus…
It’s caused fighting over pieces and anger over mixing and messing by a two-year old we all know…
except...

September 17, 2009 - 11:24 pm Patricia - Why is it exactly that boys have to do the sound effects to EVERYTHING? Josh is all about the sound effects.

September 20, 2009 - 12:02 pm cynthia - although jackson is a poor, poor ONLY child...LOL he will still make all of the sounds that go along with such toys! i don't even know if i can do it as good as he does! now even though he doesn't have a sibling, there is "Daddy" that doesn't always play right...according to jackson!

Defending the silver lining…

I’ve started a bit of a routine.  I proof all night so I can play all day…with my boys.  I don’t get much sleep, but who needs sleep these days?  Right?  Okay, so I might be a little bit tired.  I can handle it…afterall, what do I have to complain about.  Life is good.
I know...
