Be Still My Heart…

The kid has it all.
He’s serious.  I call him a “deep thinker”.
He’s quirky.  I call him charismatic and captivating.
He’s bull-headed.  I call him determined.
He’s funny.  I call him witty.
He’s so DRAMATIC.  I call him riveting.
This is a prime example….
It all started while showing a little love toward our pup.  Innocent enough, right?
Awww, you...

March 4, 2010 - 9:36 pm Brandi Moore - I love it! Sounds just like my daughter - the drama portion especially! He is such a cutie.

March 4, 2010 - 9:51 pm Jennifer - We too know drama around here far to well. It must be a 5 year old thing!! Ty looks so grown up in these pictures...they grow WAY to fast!

March 5, 2010 - 9:27 am Shannon - That is to cute !!! I love the stories behind all of the pictures !!!

March 10, 2010 - 12:57 pm Katherine - Sometimes in a very stern voice Chad or I will say to Courtney, "Courtney...we have something really important to tell you and it is best you pay attention...are you listening." In which she replies, "yes ma'am or sir" (depending) Then we'll go, "POOP!". She thinks it is the funniest thing.

Hey, Good Lookin’…

whatcha got cookin’….
This pretty much sums up EVERY day of his life.

Crazy Hair Day

Who would’ve believed it?  Not me.  He asked for a Mohawk this morning for school – I nearly fell over.  This is the kid that NEVER wants to participate in activities like this for fear someone, anyone, may look at him.
BUT, not today.  Today, he wanted a Mohawk for crazy hair day at school, and...

March 2, 2010 - 12:03 pm Shannon - To Cute !!!

Mutt & Jeff

They either love each other OR hate each other.  Today was love…
Thank goodness.  The sunshine is putting us ALL in a better mood.
That is…
until the little guy decided to destroy Ty’s masterpiece.  Doh!

Things went downhill from there and I became VERY thankful for nap time.
Happy Friday!

Snowed In

3 days of NO school.
The natives are getting restless.
Here’s a shot as the ice changed over to snow.
As the snow started sprinkling down, we were jumping with excitement and hopeful that we’d get enough to build a snowman or at least a snow angel or two.
I think 8 inches qualifies as “enough”.

On Friday, it was...

January 30, 2010 - 8:13 am MelodyA. - I have to say that I really don't like the cold but I really love to see the snow. I wish we could get just one good hour of it. I can't believe how much you got!

Cracker Barrel

Heaven or Hell?
This is my boys’ favorite place to eat.  I’m not gonna lie, I used to love it to….
before kids.
Now, I still love to go look around and grab a bite to eat when the boys are NOT with me.  Key word is NOT.
Why, you ask?
Really?  You need to know?
I’m sure all you moms...

January 27, 2010 - 7:48 pm MelodyA. - No doubt. It's like trying to hurry through the check out before someone asks if they can have a candy. Only ten times worse.

January 28, 2010 - 7:52 am Jennifer Moore - We have the "talk" as well and it doesn't work with mine either.

Living with a Tramp

Yep, I said it.
The tramp at our house has really made our lives interesting, exciting, and eventful in the last few weeks.  If we hadn’t had it around during the cold these last few days, I’m pretty sure we’d have gone a little loco.  Believe it or not, the kids would bundle up in ski...

Typical “Cooped Up” Friday Afternoon…

We’re starting to feel the effects of being cooped up in all this FRIGID cold weather.  It’s hard to explain the reasoning behind “it’s too cold to go outside” to a couple of rambunctious little boys.  To them, the sun is shining and it’s perfect for digging in the dirt, chasing after squirrels (yes, they...

Thinking Warm Thoughts…

We’ve officially hit our expected high for today and it’s only 18 degrees….
with a windchill of only 4 degrees, I needed some warmth to keep me sane.
Of course, the cute boys help, too!  Is anyone else ready for summertime?
I hope you’re all tucked in somewhere warm and cozy.  Happy Thursday!
