My mom was born and raised in Sedan, Kansas. Every year, she hauls our family back there for Christmas and various events. But, now that my boys are older, it’s fun to load up the van and drive North with her for a few days to experience what she experienced as a child.

This is a daily ritual at our house. Okay, maybe it happens more than just ONCE a day. BUT, it’s H-O-T in Oklahoma. It’s also very humid. YUCK! We need something to keep us cool, right?

Wes has finally decided he’s THREE. Up until now, when we’ve asked him how old he is, he’s responded with an adamant “FIVE!”. But, now that he’s mastered his finger numbers, he thinks three is pretty cool.
