The Russell family is such a fun bunch!  They wanted a location with lots of color and character.  I think they chose well.  Just take a look at all the color in their photographs!

Her mama and daddy are doing something right.

Yep, she loves pumpkins, too.  Although, she said they were a little heavy!

Olivia has a little sister on the way, too, which is super cool!  Seriously, how lucky to have another little person coming who’ll be as awesome as her!

This little guy was completely and totally enamored with ALL that is boy.  He was a tall, thick, strong as can be little man with a smile that lights up his eyes…and his momma.

reese_0288He wanted nothing to do with my camera so it was all I could do to get a shot of anything but his behind.  HA!  BUT, once we started playing games it was all over.  I was hearing giggles and seeing lots of grins.

Shooting at the Farmer’s Market downtown was great since it’s all shutdown on Mondays.  We had the whole place to ourselves.  Reese ran us all over and then back…more than once.  Luckily, he brought along his Nana and Papa to help wrangle him in.  He had such a cool relationship with both of them that was obvious in front of my lens.  It’s amazing what a camera can pick up.  He’ll remember these photos for a long time to come.

reese_0003rockSee what I mean?  Rocks, dirt clots, you name it and he was finding it.  There was even a stick in the mix.

jumpHe wasn’t afraid of anything, either.  I love how he jumped from that post as soon as Papa told him.  From standing to flying through the air into Papa’s arms.  He was loving it!

brickDuring our session, we had old brick, leaves, lots of color, and plenty of balloons to help capture his personality.  Kale was a real trooper, too.  He was all grins and giggles the entire time.  I’m not sure I heard him fuss at all.
