I’m so glad I was able to make it work, too, because I had SO much fun getting to know them all.  Talk about a family with lots of little boys.  I felt right at home!  I even suggested ending the session with Icy Pops all around!  Perfect.

AND, don’t forget his big sis who’s pretty excited about his arrival, too.  This time around I met up with the gang at a local park for some hot, sticky, but fun shots to help tide us over until the little man gets here.  As usual, I had a great time hanging out with the Precure family.  I go home with sore cheeks every time I see them.  I can’t imagine how big I’ll be grinning next time.

For now, here are my favorites!  Amy, you look beautiful in EVERY shot!

This gang made my job so easy.  The kiddos were perfect and full of grins.  Even the dads were great sports, which we all know isn’t always the case.  I figured for a group this big, we’d want a pretty large park.  Our spot was perfect.  There was plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy ourselves.  The sunshine was awesome and we didn’t sweat too much since we were shooting after 7pm in the evening.  HA!

Since the last time I saw her, she has totally blossomed into the cutest, most adorable, chubby legged baby on the planet.  AND, she’s the spittin’ image of her daddy.  Crazy, isn’t it? 

I met up with her family of three in Harrah for a quick park session in the 100 degree heat.  McKenlyn smiled and smiled…

then she decided it was too hot to smile.  HA!  None of us blamed her, though, since we all agreed.

We were able to snap a whole bunch of happy shots before the sweat started dripping down our backs.  I guess if we were going to suffer in the HOT sun, it might as well be because we were hanging with this little gal.  She had us all smiling and laughing.  I can’t wait to hang out with her again sometime soon.

That’s what Ty said when I told him I was out taking pictures of his favorite (& only) pediatrician.  She’s known him since he was only a day or so old.  In fact, we met at the hospital when Ty was born.  She just happened to be one of the docs on call and came by to check on our new baby boy.  We’ve loved her ever since.

So, it’s extra AWESOME that I get to snap photos of her and her crew.  The great part is they are ALL super cool and laid back.

I realized just how special this family was when I totally misunderstood an email from them last week.  I, after reading the email, thought we were rescheduling our session (due to Oklahoma wind) and drove away from our planned location (I’d just finished up an earlier session).  Once I’d gotten all the way home, I realized she’d emailed again explaining they were actually THERE.

It was a complete and total goof up on my part!  They’d driven around an hour to be there and I had simply left.  Sheesh!

The neat part was how completely awesome they were about the whole thing.  They had dinner and checked out the town.  We rescheduled and here they are in all their awesomness.    Thanks for being so understanding, you guys!

We decided to try a completely new location to make things a little easier on them.  I really didn’t want them to drive an hour ONCE AGAIN.  I’m so glad we did, too.  I’ll be shooting here again VERY SOON.  I loved it!

There were so many great shots from our session, I had a seriously hard time even narrowing them down for this post.  Therefore, you get a TON of sneak peek shots!  BUT, this next one is probably my favorite from the WHOLE session.

The Hilgenfelds are one of my favorite repeat clients.  They just keep hanging around wanting more pictures of their crazy bunch of rugrats!  I love them all!

Usually, they meet up with me in Oklahoma City somewhere for our session.  This time around we wanted to meet a little closer to their hometown of Chandler to get some fun shots.  Luckily, one of my favorite spots is about halfway between us both.  It worked out perfectly.

It was a great time for them to schedule a session since the smallest member of their family is turning ONE and her big brother just had a birthday, too.  I’ll be seeing the “middle child” again soon for her four year pics, I’m sure.

I mean, really.  Who could resist a smile this cute?

I didn’t even have to work hard to get that grin, either.  She was willing to share it…just because.    That makes me happy!

When India’s mama stuck this big hat on her head, she twisted around for the longest time trying to catch a glimpse of all of us watching.  She never could get that silly hat above her eyes enough to see out.  Then, all of a sudden, we caught sight of her grin.  What a cutie!

I told you she was all smiles.

I loved her and her family.  I even got to pick on Dad a tiny bit – he took it like a champ!

It wouldn’t be a first birthday session without a little cake.  Now, would it?

Then it was clean up time.  It usually takes the entire crew to wipe a baby clean after a cake smash.  This time was no different, and while I was helping out I happened to catch sight of this moment with India and her mama.  India was worn smooth out.

I can’t complete this sneak peek of India and her family without including the wonderful friends that referred them to me.  They are some of my VERY favorite clients.  Therefore, I was able to boss them around a bit and sneak them in a few shots.

AND…here’s a couple of India and Olivia.  I plan to see Olivia in October when she’ll be turning three!

The kiddos have really grown since I saw them last, especially this gorgeous little gal…

and I was lucky enough to catch her just after she’d lost her two front teeth.  AWESOME!

AND, of course, I can’t forget her brother.  He’s grown a TON, too.  It’s amazing how much they can change from age two to three.  He’s really starting to look like a little man and a WHOLE LOT like his daddy!

Last time, we barely caught any shots of the two kiddos together.  This time wasn’t much different.  BUT, we did get this cute shot on some old steps.

I’m not exactly sure if the time will ever come when we can talk them into hugging on each other a bunch so we can get more shots.  Luckily, every now and then, they’ll get close enough for me to catch a cute one or two. 

Mom and Dad are pretty cool, too.  They even let me snap some of them by themselves, which is usually like pulling teeth for the adults in the family.  Not them, they totally ROCKED!

I had a blast with you guys, as usual.  Thanks for making my job so much fun!

I love it!

This time around, I made the trip for the Allen family.

I thought it was so awesome they had a Meme and Poppy, too, which is what I call my grandparents.  The smallest member of their gang kept us on our toes.  She’d give us a HUGE grin and then run off telling us she was taking no more pictures.  She was a spitfire and I liked her immediately!

I also loved her Mom who I’ve decided will have to help me decorate my new house.  Their place was so neat – it was the perfect mixture of warm and cozy with modern.  The best part was of all was the teal splashed throughout the house.  I know her hubby probably doesn’t agree, but it all worked.  She even painted their front door teal!

I was feeling super blessed when I found out they lived next door to a really awesome bed and breakfast that will be opening soon.  Keep your eyes and ears open for news on the Statehood Inn.  I can’t wait to see what it has to offer visitors to Chandler.

AND, I can’t wait to go back myself for more sessions!  Keep ‘em coming, you guys!

The nice thing about this group is most of them are pretty used to having me “all up in their face” with a camera, even the kiddos.  So, they just giggle for me like they are supposed to (with the exception of Chloe  ) and we go about our photo-taking business.  It works out perfectly.

This time around we walked the alleys of OKC to get some nice urban shots.  The sun was starting to set, the kids were awesome, the men behaved, and it was just as good as hanging with friends on any other given day.  Who knew I was actually working.  Thanks for that, you guys.

After review, I think these shots are turning out to be my favorite photos for each of these two families.  There’s so much personality that comes through.  I’m smiling just looking them over again.

Of course, like with any photo session, we started growing tired near the end.  It was time to hit 7-Eleven for a Dr.Pepper Icy (or that’s what the kiddos kept telling us).  I’m thinking I may have to make a run today, too, if it’s really true.  Do they seriously sell Dr. Pepper flavored frozen treats?  I’ll never be the same.
