Halle – 9 months

This shoot was so much fun! First, because I got to stay home to shoot it, and second, because the folks I was shooting are pretty awesome.

Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of sessions here at the Gurney house. The leaves are truly amazing – I think they are prettier this year than ever before. AND, shooting here helps me out by keeping me closer to the newest little Gurney boy.

Of course, we can’t forget about sweet, little Halle girl! She is spectacular all on her own!! I love her!

Here she is in all of her awesomeness at only 9 months old!

Halle – 6 months

Here’s another session from this past week. Also, one we switched up to an early morning session – anything to beat the hundred degree temps. Lately, I’ve been shooting a TON in the early morning. Something I very seldom do… I am so not a morning person. BUT, it’s been working out great.

This time around we went to Hafer Park in Edmond. It was overcast and in the 80′s. It was AWESOME! AND, since we were there so early, there weren’t many folks at the park. Perfect!

Halle is getting so big and has the best little attitude. She just smiles and smiles and then, smiles some more. Here are a few of my favorite shots!

Even though I doubt I have any blog readers left after my HUGE delay in posting ANYTHING, I’m going to stick with it. This baby is totally messing with me when it comes to getting things done around here! I’ve decided bed time is much more important than blogging. Still, I have so much to tell you about and catch-up on! I haven’t even posted my vacation photos from Colorado, yet. So, stick around…

I might post something here every month or so! HA!

For now, here is a tiny peek at a gorgeous little gal I photographed a week ago…

We even snapped a few with their American Bulldog, Boz, who I totally wanted to take home with me!

Conner – 6 Months

I almost forgot to post this cutie pie today! What a horrible tragedy that would be!

I met up with Conner and his Mom (along with his big sis) AT MY HOUSE for some fun, easy-going shots. I love shooting sessions on my own land, because when it gets hot, everyone can just pop in the house for a cool drink (and some of my awesome SONIC ice!!). We took advantage of that with this session, because it was HOT. Lemme tell ya!

Our session was supposed to be early in the morning. The only problem was we woke up to a little more rain than we wanted. Weird!! So, we backed up our session and endured the after-rain mugginess. Still, Conner was an absolute doll and never quit grinning the whole time! I love that little guy!

Parker – 1 Year

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this little guy since he was brand new. Now, he’s ONE whole year old. It’s hard to believe how fast the time has flown by. We had so much fun chasing him around for this shoot. He’s not quite walking yet, but he can sure take off on all fours! In fact, he has the “army crawl” down to an art form! The last time we met up, he wasn’t that interested in having his picture taken. This time though, he was ALL SMILES!

We even caught him standing up for a couple of shots!

You’ve already seen a tiny preview of gorgeous, little Halle, but I’m the lucky one. I got to spend an entire evening hanging with this sweet gal. AND sweet, she is! Plus, she’s a Stillwater girl, which means a WHOLE LOT to me!

Parker – 9 months

I haven’t seen Parker since he was a tiny newborn…

a lot has changed since then.

Parking is a growing boy, after all, which means his mom and dad can barely keep up!

At first, he wasn’t really sure he wanted me hanging around, snapping photos, but once he warmed up, I was able to capture a few grins. We had fun exploring along the river – there was lots of new things to see. We decided he wasn’t a big fan of sitting in the grass, and he gave new meaning to “crawling on concrete”, but he was a great sport!

I love that last shot. We were actually walking back to the car at that point when Parker’s daddy decided he needed some tickles.

Cooper James – 10 days

Okay, before all of you new moms out there start calling me and whining, I promise I NO LONGER DO NEWBORN PHOTOS. This, however, is an exception to my rule. After all, they’re family.

It’s a good thing I’ve already got a bun in the over, because little Cooper was so stinkin’ cute! He would have given me baby fever, for sure!
