Not much has changed in this family since the last time I saw them. They’re just that kinda family. Of course, the kids grow taller, prettier, more outgoing…but, the rest stays the same. Mom and Dad still love each other…and it shows. The kiddos still chase each other around and tend to argue a bit,...

The adorable family in the below photo will have to wait until Monday for their FULL sneak peek. Hopefully, a quick dose of family craziness will tide them over until then.
Lydia – this one’s for you! Besides, with a tongue that long, how can I not post it? HA!
I thought this would be a perfect...

Quickly, before my electricity goes out AGAIN due to these crazy OK thunderstorms, I wanted to let you in on a special deal just for Shannon Gurney Photography clients and blog readers! Yes, that means you!
The folks over at Made From Earth gave me a shout a few days ago offering to give you, my...

I’m lucky enough to have two nephews. The neat thing is they’re both the same age, and they get along really great with each other. Jesse (on Josh’s side) turns 14 next week, and Jordan (on my side) will be the same age in October. Jesse reminds me so much of Josh…and Ty reminds me...

Today was Ty’s “unofficial” first day of school. For him, it’s the first organized classroom of any kind. He’s never been to daycare and has only spent this past year going two days a week to Mother’s Day Out at our local church. I had a feeling things would be a bit tough, and I...

Meet the Goff girls.
I’ve been trying to get a session scheduled with these three ladies for most of the summer. Something has always gotten in our way, though. BUT, this past weekend, we finally made it work! I’m so glad, too, because they were a hoot! Plus, I think they and their families will treasure...

I met up with the Flaggert Family near Bass Pro along the river in downtown OKC. It’s one of my favorite locations because everything is so green and lush right now. Plus, it sports a couple of really cool waterfalls, lots of flowers, and even an urban backdrop or two. It’s the perfect location for...
