I know all you guys out there in blogville have been patiently awaiting my next post – it’s just been a few days!!! We’ve been working hard around the Gurney household – trying to clean up and clean out! It’s that time of year!
But, I haven’t been too busy to get in a session...
these are all so good but the one of mom and dad that is ‘backlit’ took my breath! and the one below it of dad is awesome…i love the ‘mood’ you captured. doesn’t it make it easy when you don’t have to pose everyone??

that’s a precious shot!
You can do all that technical stuff and still have a picture that stinks, because it has no feeling. As opposed to this, which has so much heart that none of the other stuff matters. I love it!

AWWWW! My heart is melting. NTE is right, a picture can be technically perfect and yet still be empty if it’s misses that soul and emotional connection. This image defintitely makes a connection! love how they’re gazing into each others eyes.
